What is the most effective way to take Zetia?

• usually taken once a day
• with or without food
• take at the same time every day so you don't forget

Some Zetia side effects include but are not limited to:

• headache
• diarrhea
• sore throat
• joint pain

If any of these persist or worsen, contact your doctor or get medical help immediately.

More serious side effects can occur. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience:

• hives, rash/itching
• upset stomach
• unusual bleeding or bruising
• lack of energy
• muscle pain or weakness
• chills
• chest pain
