What is Soriatane?

Soriatane and the generic alternative acitretin, is a medication used to treat severe psoriasis in adults. Psoriasis is an abnormal growth of skin cells which causes red, thickened or scaly skin. Soriatane is a retinoid which is a form of vitamin A.

• Signs of high blood sugar such as increased thirst or urination, dry mouth, fruity breath odor, headache or blurred vision.
• Signs of increased pressure inside the skul such as severe headaches, ringing in your ears, dizziness, nausea, vision problems or a pain behind your eyes.
• Signs of liver problems such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dark urine, or jaundice.
